Inicio / Simplant 3D Computer-Assisted Surgery
Computer-assisted Surgery: Maximum Precision, Minimal Invasion.
At IDEM, we were pioneers in incorporating computer-assisted surgery into our implant treatments. Since the early 2000s, this technology has revolutionised the sector, allowing us to perform less invasive, more precise and much safer procedures.

Simplant 3D Software:
What processes does it include?
Using Simplant® 3D software, we can digitally plan the surgery with an accuracy of one-tenth of a millimeter. We start with a three-dimensional reconstruction of the patient’s mouth—obtained with CBCT—that allows us to study the bone anatomy in depth, simulate the final result, and define the exact position of each implant, even in cases without dental reference.
This process includes:
- Digital treatment design, adapted to both aesthetics and functionality.
- Virtual simulation of the surgery, optimizing every millimeter of the procedure.
- Manufacturing of a personalized surgical guide, which the surgeon will use during the intervention to replicate in detail what was digitally planned.
What advantages does it offer?
- Predictable and personalized results, thanks to 3D visualization
- Optimization of implant placement for more effective and aesthetic integration
- Faster and less invasive interventions.
- Greater safety, even in complex cases.
- Clear explanation of the treatment to the patient using digital images
With Simplant® 3D, the treatment does not begin in the operating room… it begins on the screen. Because precise planning is the first step to rehabilitating with
